What is Smartpunk? How did I get here?

Well, first of all, welcome! Smartpunk is first and foremost a record label and online vinyl shop! Besides releasing our own artist's records and merch, we're home to a ton of exclusive and #rare variants of certain records. We've teamed up with other labels to release some cool colorways of your new favorite records.

We hope you enjoy your stay. Buy often and tell your friends how much you love 'em.

What is vinyl? How do I take care of my collection?

Vinyl records are an analog format to enjoy your favorite songs! Sometimes, they include cool artwork and liner notes that allow you to read along to the words you're already singing. Sometimes, there's some cool pictures or other stories involved. Either way, it's our favorite way to experience music, and we know that it will soon be your's, too!

What is a coupon code/Why isn't my coupon code working?

Coupon codes are a series of letters and numbers that we throw together so you're able to save some money on your order. Maybe it's free shipping, maybe it's 15% off when you sign up for our newsletter (hint hint). Apply this code at checkout to get your discount!

Sometimes, codes are based on certain products or collections. If your code isn't working, make sure:
- the items in your cart follow the conditions of the code
- aren't out of date
- are typed correctly

Why doesn't my record look like the one in the picture?

Because of the nature of how a record is manufactured, each record may vary in weight and color from each other. We try to provide an accurate mock up of the colorway for our exclusives and record releases. For all other releases in our distro, we try to be as accurate as possible.

I want to know what color this record is, how do I find out?

If we have a special, unique edition/variant of an album, that information should be listed in the title of the product, i.e. "Voodoo Glow Skulls = the Band Geek - Special Edition (Orange Vinyl)". Otherwise, our stock should reflect the most current pressing available. This is not guaranteed, though, considering most vinyl is sealed, and may not list any information about color variants. In some cases, you may be in luck and find an older pressing of the album that's been hiding!

If you REALLLLLLLLLLY need to know if we have that one copy of Against Me!'s "Reinventing Axl Rose" on Guacamole (we probably don't), feel free to email us and we'll see what we can figure out!

ORDERS AND ORDERING

Can I change the shipping address for my pre-ordered item?

Of course! Just shoot us an email before the projected ship date and let us know your new address so we can make note of it.

What is your exchange/refund policy?

DID WE MAKE A MISTAKE?
First off, we're sorry. We probably didn't have our coffee this morning. Let us know if we sent you the wrong product, color, or size and we'll get you the right item(s) right away! Please note: this does not reflect to variant colorways. Actual products will look different than the mocks, but they'll still look cool and sound awesome!

DID YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND?
No problem! So long as the record is returned to us in the same condition that it was shipped in (unopen, unplayed, not totally gnarly), we will work with you to refund/exchange your order, less the cost of shipping. Just contact us and we'll get it all sorted out!

My digital download won't work!

Be sure you are downloading your music on a desktop computer! Unfortunately, you can't download our digital products onto a tablet or mobile device, but you sure as hell can sync it up from your desktop to your mobile or tablet!

If you have not received your digital download, please email us with your order number and let us know. Very rarely, some orders slip through the cracks or don't end up where they're supposed to. We'll quickly resolve this!

Am I able to split my order/Can you ship my products that are in stock right away?

unfortnately, there’s no way for us to split up an order that has been made, so if you have pre-order items that you don’t mind waiting for and records that are in stock that you want right away, please make two separate orders. this will ensure the order doesn’t get stuck in limbo!

Where is my order?

Orders may take up to 3-5 business days to be processed & shipped.

Shipping can then take up to 1-2 weeks for domestic shipments and 2-6 weeks for international shipments (depending on shipping method chosen at checkout).

All missing domestic packages must be reported within 30 days of purchase. All missing international packages must be reported within 90 days of purchase. If the shipping address you provided was incorrect, incomplete, or otherwise undeliverable by the post office, we don't know until the package returns to our warehouse. If you believe this is the case with your order, please contact us at shop@smartpunk.com

When will I receive my order?

If items in your order were sold on pre-sale, please reference the estimated ship time as notated on the product's page.

All orders shipping to a US destination will typically arrive anywhere from one to two weeks from shipment date. It can take as little as three days for delivery depending on the efficiency of your local postal service and distance from our warehouse.

International shipping times vary. Typically, international shipments can take anywhere from two to six weeks to arrive from shipment date. We do not ship partial orders. Your order will only ship if all items are in stock, so please be aware of this when placing your order. If items are out of stock you will be notified by email.
